Passengers - English

Anne Hathaway plays the character of a young therapist, Claire, who is assigned by her mentor (Andre Braugher) to run sessions with a group of survivors from a recent plane crash. The session starts to become a smaller group as some of her patients begin to disappear mysteriously. Claire tries to solve the mystery behind the missing patients, suspecting the airline company responsible for the absence. Later on, she uncovers a secret that will change her own life forever. The film is definitely one of those movies that try so hard to boggle with our mind with the mysterious chains of events, but in the end, it happens to be a disappointing and predictable mystery. It almost feels like we have watched or read the story somewhere before, hence the element of surprise vanished. Credit goes to Anne Hathaway for looking pretty in anything that she wears, however for an actress with her credibility, she could have been better off picking up a different movie.
