cool tips for you o...
1)make sure the fingernail of your finger where u use to press chord need to be short...cuz if long then the spund produce will not be so sharp...
2)on the other hand..ur fingernail of your finger where u use to strum or pluck need to be long but not so long la...this may come in handy when you play ur guitar cuz it will sound sharp and nuce to hear...
3)sing along...haha...
4)do practice...
5)if you feel ur fingers are in pain...it means ur finger are taking too much pressure liao..so you must rest...

6)drink water...
